- The editorial board ensures fairness, confidentiality, and objectivity throughout the review process.
1.2. Editorial Decision
- The Editor-in-Chief makes final decisions based on reviewers’ recommendations.
- Possible decisions include: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.
- Authors are notified of decisions within 3-4 weeks of submission.
2. Publication Ethics
IJITIE follows the ethical standards defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
2.1. Authors’ Responsibilities
- Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
- All sources must be properly cited.
- Plagiarism, fabrication, and duplicate publication are strictly prohibited.
- Authorship should reflect actual contributions to the research and writing.
2.2. Editors’ Responsibilities

- Editors will act on any suspected ethical misconduct according to COPE guidelines.
2.3. Reviewers’ Responsibilities
- Reviewers must provide constructive, unbiased feedback and respect confidentiality.
- They must disclose any potential conflict of interest.
3. Open Access and Copyright Policy
- IJITIE is an open-access journal. All articles are freely accessible online.
- Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License, allowing free distribution and reuse with proper citation.
- Authors retain copyright to their work.
4. Plagiarism and Similarity Check
- All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software.
- Manuscripts with similarity above 20% (excluding references) may be rejected or returned for revision.
5. Article Processing Charges (APC)
- IJITIE charges a modest article processing fee to cover editorial and publication costs.
- There are no submission fees.
- Fee waivers or discounts may be considered for authors from developing countries, students or based on editorial discretion.
6. Archiving and Indexing
- The journal ensures long-term preservation of published articles through digital archiving systems.
- IJITIE aims for inclusion in Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, Econlit, ERIH Plus, EBSCO and Google Scholar indexing databases.
7. Frequency of Publication
The journal is published quarterly (four times per year): March, June, September, and December.
8. Withdrawal, Retraction, and Correction Policy
- Authors may withdraw manuscripts before final acceptance with written justification.
- Published papers may be retracted in cases of proven misconduct, major error, or ethical violation.
- Corrections or errata will be issued if minor errors are discovered after publication.
9. Conflict of Interest Policy
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, academic, or personal relationships that could influence their work or judgment.
10. Privacy Statement
Names, email addresses, and personal information entered in this journal’s website will be used exclusively for academic purposes and will not be shared with third parties.
